I was Dr. Nguyen’s patient during his final year of residency at MUSC. In my junior year of high school, I was recommended for braces, which I was very unhappy about especially since I was an aspiring model. I thought braces were unnecessary and would make me look less attractive. However, from day one Dr. Nguyen made me feel comfortable about the procedure. I only had my braces for a little over a year; but after seeing the before and after pictures compared side-by-side, I noticed a huge difference in my smile.
